Long time no see...

Been a while since i posted, but a lot has happened. I finished my first book-binding project, making a sketch/notebook with a cover made from mana cards from my collection of Magic the Gathering cards. In grade-school i used to play Magic every lunch period, attend tournaments, and I still maintain a working deck (though it is hopelessly out of date by now). I have thousands of cards that i can't bear to throw out and are worthless on the ebay market, so I've been looking for ways to use them in my crafts.

I think it came out pretty good, though of course there are a bunch of things i plan to fix for next time. I followed this up with a hardcover book made from Orson Well's 1984, but i made the mistake of trying to use lined paper. The less said about that, the better.

I'm also working on trying to sell supplies, and i've run across a whole bunch of stuff. I just acquired a whole garbage bag full of excelsior basket shred for nothing! Darn right! And my floor is stacked with tiny piles of exactly 100 blank cards tied together with string (i probably have about 900 altogether), also gotten for nothing, so if i can just -sell- anything, then we're in business, literally!

I think advertising is in order. But i'm honestly completely lost on that part of things.

Man, o man, this post took much longer than in should have! My computer has gone blinkety on me, and hilighting and clicking have both become highly dangerous.
